In our community, since I’ve been practicing here I have handled hundreds of divorce cases. I have found that there is a way to divorce differently and that’s through collaborative divorce. With collaboration divorce, the parties have an opportunity to participate 100 percent in the divorce process by working with mental health professionals and financial professionals. And as a team the lawyer, the client, and the mental health and financial professionals can work with the other lawyer, the other client, the other party and the same mental health and financial professionals to craft a solution that is tailor fit to that person’s divorce, which saves time, money, heartache, and it is absolutely the best way to resolve a union.
